*I gave my first lesson in 1990. Since then i have given more than 55,000 lessons. I believe learning can be enjoyable as long as the lessons make sense.Over the years  I have learned a few different ways to teach many genres and levels of play.  Nothing makes up for practicing but we can often we can use "shortcut" type methods to help make learning faster and easier. Since a "one method fits all" lesson does not exist, there can be multiple ways to learn some of the same things.  Sometimes we can use your favorite songs as lesson plans. I find that this is a fun way to learn things like chords/rhythms  and scales. Whatever your goal is, i can help find the best method to achieve it.
